1. INITIAL CONSULTATION: This is where we get to meet you and your space! This meeting is complimentary as we learn your vision and determine if we are a good fit for your project.
2. MEASUREMENTS: If we are a match we will begin billing for our time and get to work. Our time is billed to you monthly. Our first step as your designer is to measure your space and depending on your project, bring our contractors over to help us all understand what is possible in the space.
3. INSPIRATION: This is the fun dreaming stage where we exchange inspiration photos and get clear on your vision!
4. DESIGN PRESENTATION: Now that your vision is clear and we've gotten to know your space we begin creating your design presentation. This is a visual communication tool that will help you to visualize your project’s end result. It typically includes detailed floor plans, elevations, color schemes, material samples, furniture, and other visual representations that bring the design concept to life. This helps you to better understand and evaluate the proposed design, making it easier to provide feedback and make informed decisions. We present our ideas and make any necessary revisions. At this point you now own the design plan and can choose to implement it however you want.
5. ESTIMATION: If you choose to use our resources to implement, our contractors and tradesmen provide us with a ballpark budget. If you are comfortable with the budget, we collect bids from all the laborers needed to create a more accurate estimate.
6. FINISH SCHEDULE CREATION: Next we take your design presentation and essentially create instructions for the contractor for your design. This is a document called a finish schedule. This will communicate every material's place to the contractor to assure your vision comes to life properly.
7. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: We check in and work closely with our contractors and subs to be sure to meet the standard of excellence we maintain for our clients.
8. INSTALLATION & PHOTOGRAPHY: We install all furniture, take pictures and celebrate your new space with you!
